Christmas 2024

     We just had our Brady's Brigade Christmas Event. I think it went pretty well. We had Santa come like usual and we had two parents make crafts for the kids to craft. While that was happening, other parents brought in food for the event. While the Community Center conveniently had a Christmas tree for us to put presents under.

    Speaking of the presents I was glad that some of the parents from our community helped give gifts for the people in the event. The participation of our community helping fund the event by giving presents, food, and their personal crafts was very helpful.

    Everyone had plenty of fun, with our photographer taking pictures when Santa gave gifts to everyone, or when group photos were taken with Santa. These pictures are what help show the internet what Brady's Brigade is all about. Encouraging families with special needs relatives/children to participate in our next Brady's Brigade event. 

    Just to let anyone who wants to come to our next event after reading this blog, the next event will be January 12th, 2025. Have a great Christmas everybody! See you in the New Year of 2025!

Trick or Trunk 2024

    Trick or Trunk was an interesting event this year, more so than the ones we have had in the past. This is because we initially believed that we wouldn't have enough trunks to give enough candy to the people who would join the event. Luckily for us we were proven wrong as multiple trunks set up their trunks for people to get candy from.      We also had an inside decorated area with pizza and a few crafts ready for people to do while they had fun during the event. Overall, it had gone pretty good from start to finish...is what I would say if I was lying. The truth is we had one problem at the start of the event.      For everyone who came  I love the dedication to Brady's Brigade, but people had caught me off guard when they had arrived early to the event. First post of 2025

    Hello viewers of Brady's Brigade Special Needs Support Group this is our first post of 2025. I would like to thank everyone for an amazing nine years of building our little special needs community using our events. It will officially be nine years once we get to our October event.     I would like to thank everyone who participated in our events, whether as volunteers or attending the events. Every one of you helped build this community, building relationships with other families in our community. Even when we had to restart the Facebook group, we were able to recover from the losses quickly, even gaining new members to join the group.      I hope everyone who has participated in our events and the people who will enter our events in the future will love this group. 12/1/23 The year has been going amazing and the group has been going really strong. I am so proud about how everyone in the group has been growing from when they first joined to now. My favorite event for this year definitely had to be the Monopoly one. I loved how interactive it was to the community since multiple people could join one game allowing people to meet others for the first time through Monopoly. I hope we can continue growing strong this month, next year, and into the future years!
