Winter College

Winter College I leave the bus, with a stomp, ready for high school before that, I have another event to attend my first day in college. When it comes to the first day, first impressions, first times, to me it is always crucial to make it my best, first impressions are the most impactful after all The first thing I do is talk to the nearest teacher getting their permission to walk to college I made my way to the front of the college Putting on my White ACT sweater I turned on my Google Maps to find the college walking up the hill, through the ice, snow, cars until I arrived at the campus Knowing the building was called Goddard Hall I walked past buildings until I got to the Hall, entering the hall, I sat on the nearest chair. Opening my phone I check the time, I had about half an hour left before the class started so, I spent some time playing on my phone that plan changed once there was 15 minutes left. So, I walked down the hall with classes, checking the signs until I found the righ...

Free Time

Free Time I am a freshman in college I have a lot on my plate my life is balanced yet, I also have free time I have a lot on my plate using my computer or phone yet, I also have free time I spend it on electronics Using my computer or phone spending time on college or for fun I spend it on my electronics or on rare occasions writing a chapter I used to be a senior in high school I am a freshman in college I have gained many new burdens yet, I also have free time.

Family Animals

Mothers are like bears dangerous when intruders intrude, merciless when family is at risk. Fathers are like foxes once they have children, they teach using hands-on experience. Older siblings are like the leaders of pride keeping their younger siblings in line, protecting them from external harm. Younger siblings are like raccoons sometimes stealing from others, or use puppy eyes to get their way. Time changes family like everyone else some family members for the better, other family members for the worse.

Growing up

- Since Brady's Brigade has been founded I have grown with it. Now I am a freshman student in Three Rivers Community College, waiting to start my second semester. As such I acquired some new achievements in life like getting a permit. - I also managed to create a bank account, and acquire a credit card so I can start using the money I get from my job as a dishwasher. Said money was used to buy legos and games. - I even went back to ACT as an Alumni to answer some questions for students attending the school with other Alumni. Though before that I went on a quick Dunkin Donut Run for some food before we started. - I've also officially been on a public bus before which was an incredibly unique experience.  Also I hope to see you guys at our Pajama Day on January 25th at the regular location we usually have our events at.

Big Changes

If you have seen the recent posts on Brady's Brigade you know we had to cancel our December event after we previously postponed it. This is because of varying events that impact my personal life. One of these events was the death of one of our dogs named Phoenix. A different event that effected this is one of our cars breaking down due to a faulty exhaust and one of our other cars having a dead battery. This reduced our ability to transport things to the Montville Community Center for the event. The final event that led to us ending the event is that my mother got sick and had to go to the hospital. This meant we had to focus all of our time on my mom instead of Brady's Brigade since family is more important.

College and Work

Ever since I graduated high school, I had to adjust to the fact that I would have to go to college. I never really got ready until I started going to college because I never adjust until it happens. It was really hard for me to adapt to doing three physical classes, and then do a digital class without the required book. It took me about a month to get the physical book for the digital class, while I had to struggle handling homework for three college classes at once...since homework is never easy.     This is also on top of doing work on Saturday and Sunday which is essentially for the entire day, leaving me to tired to do homework for the entire weekend. My arms and legs hurt since I am a dishwasher, and I have to keep standing while doing it.      Though as time went on I got more used to college and work. I began to keep up with the overwhelming homework, and I even got cut on Sunday due to the restaurant facing it's slow seasons. Giving ...

My Graduation Day

I had an amazing graduation day. It started a few days earlier, with me getting my cap and gown. With my Mom's help I managed to find a good design for the cap. (I was not allowed to decorate the gown but that's fine with me.) Once I got the design, my Mom bought some panting supplies, and went to work on putting the design onto my cap.      After that we had to wait for the paint and glue to dry. With the Yellow paint taking the most time to dry since my Mom kept having to paint over it multiple times so that you could read it on the cap. Then came graduation day. Where I headed to school like it was a regular day. Once the school day ended I went home to put on my cap and gown before going back to school.      Since our phones were disconnected from the internet meaning we had no GPS. This made it so I was barely on time for the graduation walk at the school. Then came the graduation performance, everyone got their graduation certific...
