Treat or Trunk

Due to many changes the event will be a mixture of Trick or Treat and Trick or Trunk. Or as I call it Treat or Trunk. (copyright pending) One of the crafts are painting glasses and we also have some goody bags on hand as well. We might get some Flanders donuts (amazing company and could definitely be a giant rival to Dunkin Donuts) Due to the release of Hocus Pocus 2 we will have some crafts from that franchise as well. We will have a lot of other food aside from the possible Flanders Donuts. (Its up in the air and an idea I just had pop up in my head.)

    Hello viewers of Brady's Brigade Special Needs Support Group this is our first post of 2025. I would like to thank everyone for an amazing nine years of building our little special needs community using our events. It will officially be nine years once we get to our October event.     I would like to thank everyone who participated in our events, whether as volunteers or attending the events. Every one of you helped build this community, building relationships with other families in our community. Even when we had to restart the Facebook group, we were able to recover from the losses quickly, even gaining new members to join the group.      I hope everyone who has participated in our events and the people who will enter our events in the future will love this group. Trick or Trunk 2024

    Trick or Trunk was an interesting event this year, more so than the ones we have had in the past. This is because we initially believed that we wouldn't have enough trunks to give enough candy to the people who would join the event. Luckily for us we were proven wrong as multiple trunks set up their trunks for people to get candy from.      We also had an inside decorated area with pizza and a few crafts ready for people to do while they had fun during the event. Overall, it had gone pretty good from start to finish...is what I would say if I was lying. The truth is we had one problem at the start of the event.      For everyone who came  I love the dedication to Brady's Brigade, but people had caught me off guard when they had arrived early to the event. This had made me stressed, worried, and filled with panic.  Thankfully I was wrong, and we had arrived on time, but multiple families had come to early.      It shoul...

12/1/23 The year has been going amazing and the group has been going really strong. I am so proud about how everyone in the group has been growing from when they first joined to now. My favorite event for this year definitely had to be the Monopoly one. I loved how interactive it was to the community since multiple people could join one game allowing people to meet others for the first time through Monopoly. I hope we can continue growing strong this month, next year, and into the future years!
