Back to school event

The event went farely well with a little boy coming just for supplies for school and interactions with other kids which really showed me the passion parents have for their kids. We had a huge water balloon fight which was really fun for both sides of the water fight. There were some snacks, and school supplies for the people at the event. With the kids having fun running around the community center with some crafts / school supplies coming home with them as well. No event for 6tempter as usual (6 years of no events for September) The next event is going to be a old favorite from the past known as Trick of Trunk.

    Hello viewers of Brady's Brigade Special Needs Support Group this is our first post of 2025. I would like to thank everyone for an amazing nine years of building our little special needs community using our events. It will officially be nine years once we get to our October event.     I would like to thank everyone who participated in our events, whether as volunteers or attending the events. Every one of you helped build this community, building relationships with other families in our community. Trick or Trunk 2024

    Trick or Trunk was an interesting event this year, more so than the ones we have had in the past. This is because we initially believed that we wouldn't have enough trunks to give enough candy to the people who would join the event. Luckily for us we were proven wrong as multiple trunks set up their trunks for people to get candy from.      We also had an inside decorated area with pizza and a few crafts ready for people to do while they had fun during the event. Overall, it had gone pretty good from start to finish...is what I would say if I was lying. The truth is we had one problem at the start of the event.      For everyone who came  I love the dedication to Brady's Brigade, but people had caught me off guard when they had arrived early to the event. This had made me stressed, worried, and filled with panic.  Thankfully I was wrong, and we had arrived on time, but multiple families had come to early.      It shoul...

12/1/23 The year has been going amazing and the group has been going really strong. I am so proud about how everyone in the group has been growing from when they first joined to now. My favorite event for this year definitely had to be the Monopoly one. I loved how interactive it was to the community since multiple people could join one game allowing people to meet others for the first time through Monopoly. I hope we can continue growing strong this month, next year, and into the future years!
